Comfort and Natural Style in the Hotel Sector

A guest's first impression is crucial, and few architectural elements carry as much visual weight as a grand central staircase. In our latest project, we transformed a passageway into a focal point by installing a high-resistance fiber carpet.

1. The Material: Sisal Effect (Rustic model) for High-Traffic Areas

For this hotel, we selected a flat-weave carpet that mimics the texture of sisal. Why? Because it's the ideal material for staircases:

Extreme Durability: It withstands constant wear and tear and the weight of suitcases without showing signs of wear.

Slip-Resistant: It provides superior grip, drastically reducing the risk of slipping compared to bare steps.

Acoustic: It dampens the sound of footsteps and echoes, which is vital for maintaining tranquility in common areas.

2. Design Details: Contrasting Bands

As you can see in the installation, we've incorporated two black bands along the sides. This detail isn't just aesthetic (it adds a modern touch and frames the rise), but it also serves a road safety function: it clearly defines the width of the passage and improves the visibility of the step.

3. Installation Precision

Covering a staircase is one of the most demanding jobs for an installer. In this case:

The carpet has been perfectly tensioned on each riser to avoid wrinkles that could cause tripping.

The lateral fit against the white wooden railing and the wall is precise, guaranteeing a clean finish that respects the original architecture.

The warm sand tone of the carpet creates an organic contrast with the white woodwork and the artwork on the walls, achieving a welcoming and professional atmosphere.

Conclusion

A well-finished staircase is synonymous with care and attention to detail. This combination of natural fiber and black trim demonstrates that it is possible to combine industrial safety with the most refined design.
